Ola’s license is cancelled for 6 months from today.

Karnataka transport department has suspended Ola’s cab license for six months. A shocking news that came out today.

According to the department of transportation of Karnataka, Ola has not taken permission for Ola bikes and started working illegally. So, it connected Ola and debate happened between 2 parties.

In the end the result came out that Ola will have to stop working on Karnataka for six months straight.

The License will be suspended for 6 months under section 11(1) of the aggregator rule. The government has assed to stop the services from Friday itself i.e 22th March 2019. And they have asked the Aggregator to submit the License.

The transport department also added that there are no provision for app based bikes.

Rapido, a similar venture started in 2016, is also under the radar of the government as it has the similar service offering to the users.
